Hello my name is Kainanea and i’m 12 years old. I go to maui Waena intermediate school and I am in 7th grade. I was born on October 9, 2005 on Maui, Hawaii. I have 3 siblings and i’m the second oldest. My older brother is 22 and his name is Wela, he was hanaied because his mother was not able to give him the attention that he needed as he was growing up. Then there’s me. After me there’s my brother, his name is Keaweaheulu, and he is 6 and is currently gong to Makawao elementary school on Maui, Hawaii. after my younger brother theres my only sister, she is 4 years old and her name is Kameaiomakamai and she currently goes to the Makawao head start on maui, Hawaii. Now lets talk about my parents. My dad is 38 and is in jail for 14 years but its been 4 years already. Then there’s my mom and she is 34 years old and is proud to have us kids in her life. I am currently in foster care and I have been in foster care for almost 2 years already. my brother, keaweaheulu, and my sister kameaiomakamai live with my grandmother upcountry. then I live with my uncle and aunty in maui lani the greens, so there for me my brother, and my sister have been split up for a while. I was maybe hoping to be reunited with my mom in march when we have our next court date.
I enjoy hanging out with my friends and my family. I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends because you never know what can happen. I also enjoy playing games on my phone and watching youtube when i’m bored. Another thing that I enjoy is riding my bike anywhere because I have nothing to do at home.
I want to learn how to fly a plain so that one day I could travel the world. to me traveling the world sounds like fun being able to learn, how to speak different languages, and seeing their life style, that would teach me many different things. Not only being able to see how they live is amazing, but seeing the many different types of environments will inspire me to make our community a better place
for my future I would like to go to college and get my pilots license. If I maybe have the time later on then I would like to maybe get my license to be a vetinerian so that I could help out our local animals. this way i could fly around the world and help out our environments. lastly i would like to have my dad bailed out of jail so that he could make it in time for my brother and sister’s graduation.
my long terms goals are to be able to buy me my own house so that I could have a good place to live and so that I know that i’m perfectly stable. My other long term goal is to have my dad out of jail so he can go back with my mom and start over again. my last long term goal is to be successful and leave back a legacy of mine that i had helped out the world.
